Although not a University High School alumnus by traditional standards, Bob Blunk has accepted the "mantle of green and gold" by dedicating countless hours of service to U-High. Bob has always been ready to help U-High's athletic program. For
the past 30 years Bob has been involved in a variety of activities,
including being a member of the "chain gang" at home
games, serving as chaperone, maintaining the books for all junior
varsity and varsity games, and serving as scorer for the girls
basketball team.
His longest involvement has been with the boys basketball
program – 25 years!
He has worked with five head coaches, maintained the clock
for sophomore games, and served as official scorer for the Class A
and AA Super-Sectional tournaments, Inter-City tournaments, and the
Classic tournament.
It is evident from the numerous hours of service Bob has
provided to U-High that he enjoys and believes in helping young
people succeed in life.
