Class of 1972 Sidney is a lighting designer and sculptor. He is an alumnus of Illinois State University, the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, and the Lowell Institute of MIT. Currently he is the owner and president of Hutter Glass and Light located in Boston. Sidney's
glass art has been exhibited in several locations including Japan,
New York, California, Florida, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, DC.
His work has also been featured in 47 publications and is
displayed in numerous public and corporate collections.
Awards include the Massachusetts Artist Fellowships in Crafts
in 1985 and Merit Awards from the American Craft Awards in 1988 and
1989.
Major projects include the interior design at the Grand Hyatt
Hotel in Hong Kong; the Hyatt on Collins in Melbourne, Australia;
and the Pittsburgh Gateway Hilton.
