Gosh, I can't believe
20 years have gone by - I used to think that was old!!
Let's see - I went to ISU where I was not nearly the straight
A student I was
at U-High. Ended up with a Parks and Recreation degree - which
I did use for
a while. I moved to Texas almost 15 years ago. Texas summers
where much
easier to take back then - I can hardly stand summers now - and
snow and ice
looks good sometimes. Six years after being here I met my husband
who was
originally from Minnesota and we were married in 1997. I guess
we have the
normal life - we both work, my husband has 2 grown sons - one
is nearby, the
other in Seattle. I don't have any complaints - I have so many
blessings in
my life and am truly grateful for all of them.
Words of Wisdom: If I had only known then what I
know now! When something
yucky happens, stop and think will it really matter 5 years from
now
(sometimes it won't matter in 5 days!!).
Favorite Memory: Great friends (I thought I would
just die, if I didn't talk
to each of them every day), the smell and feel of the first football
game
each year, being grounded a lot by my parents (not fun). I know
there is
more to remember, it's just not coming to me right now.
I won't be able to make
it back in July - but have the best time.
