Hall of Fame Member Julie Pritner,
Class of 1981, will be on an episode of The Good Wife
that will air on CBS on Tuesday, October 27. She
will be playing a police officer who will pat down
Julianna Marguiles, the star of the series.

Alumni Award Winners Named
...Ogonna
Nnamani '01 is being presented
with the 'Pioneer Hall of Fame Award' due to her
significant contributions in the fields of education,
leadership and athletics. She has held herself to high
standards and has met those goals both in the classroom
and on the court.
...Dr.
Karen J. Deighan ’78 is the
2009 recipient of the 'Distinguished Alumni Award'
based on her practice and teaching in her chosen field
of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
...Charlotte
FitzHenry Robling
’34 is being honored with the 'Pioneer Posthumous
Recognition Award' due to her breakthrough work in
journalism.
...Terry
Dawson has been selected as
the 2009 'Friend of U-High'. Terry's involvement
began when his daughters, Samantha and Jenny, were
students and he volunteered countless hours to the
Theatre and Music Departments.
Technology Center Named and Dedicated
The naming and dedication
ceremony for the Wroan Engineering and Technology Center
was held on May 12, 2009. The event was in honor of John
L. Wroan III, who donated $500,000 to University High
School to transform the former vocational arts area into
a state of the art facility. View the dedication

Nnamani,
a 2003 graduate, has
been named Director of Operations for the
national-ranked
University of Oregon Track and Field and
Cross Country Programs. You can read more about

Ted
Nicholson,
1988 graduate
and 2007 Pioneer Hall of Fame
inductee
will
present a program on his new
book, 'Love to Love You Bradys'
at Milner Library on Tuesday,
October 13 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
He will be joined via a
conference call by Susan Olsen,
who played Cindy Brady, showing
video clips from the Brady
Variety Hour. Following the
presentation Ted will be signing
copies of his book.

and auctions. Help us preserve a part of
University High School history.

U-High alum recognized
for stem cell research -
Dr. Kevin Eggan,
a 1992 U-High graduate who is now on faculty at the
Harvard Stem Cell Institute, has been recognized in
TIME Magazine and Science Magazine for his work in
stem cell research. You may access the articles by

featured Kevin and his work. We wish Dr. Eggan and his
