The
Wroan Engineering and Technology Center
was dedicated on May 12, 2009 at
10:00 a.m. The center will allow U-High students
to investigate important technologies and their
influence on society, design solutions for human
problems both small and large, produce accurate
prototypes of engineering designs, and prepare for
careers in engineering, technology, and related fields.
Alumni Wear Available Now
The Alumni Association
has some articles of clothing left over from Homecoming.
Leftovers include one small green sweatshirt ($10),
seven black golf towels ($10), eleven fleece jackets
($30), and six nylon wind jackets ($25). Please
contact Karen Mlincsek at
cheks3@hotmail.com if you are interested in
purchasing any of these items.
The Make A Wish
Foundation
will be hosting its Second Annual Celebrity Sing for
Wishes on July 11. Current U-High teacher and
football coach Dusty Burk will be one of the
participants. 2001 graduate and Olympian Ogonna
Nnamani will be making a special appearance for an

Ted
Nicholson,
1988 graduate and 2007 Pioneer Hall of Fame inductee,
has a book coming out he wrote with Susan Olsen from the
Brady Bunch.
Love to Love You Bradys: The Bizarre Story of The Brady
Bunch Variety Hour will be out in June.

U-High alum recognized
for stem cell research -
Dr. Kevin Eggan,
a 1992 U-High graduate who is now on faculty at the
Harvard Stem Cell Institute, has been recognized in
TIME Magazine and Science Magazine for his work in
stem cell research. You may access the articles by
