The Halls Have Eye, a success

On Friday October 30 Key Club transformed the halls of U-High into
“The Halls Have Eyes.” Those who dared to enter were haunted by
zombie students lurking around every corner as they made their way

when kids celebrate the scariest holiday of the year: Halloween.This
year Halloween lies on a Saturday, which is convenient for the high
school students who plan to celebrate the tradition of going door to
door for candy.

As a part of the mission of
the lab schools every semester clinical experience students teach lessons in
most classes. For the next few weeks these students will be working
with our journalism students. This work may slow or halt news

Marching Pioneers perform for the last time

Saturday October 24, the 2009 marching
pioneers performed for the last time at the 41 annual
State of Illinois Invitational High School Marching Band
Championship. This competition is the equivalent of state for any
other sport.

Soccer advances to sectional final

field on Tuesday, October 27. The first goal was scored by Logan
