We hope that you will find this
resource to be a valuable tool to stay involved in your student’s education.
As part of our continuing improvement efforts, all teachers
will be utilizing Edline this year. Teachers will make updates at least
every two weeks. Updates may be made more often in some cases, but they will
be made at a minimum of every two weeks.
We do want to caution parents,
however, that this does not necessarily mean all grades will change every
two weeks. Due to inherent differences in curricula and content, there are
some circumstances that will necessitate grades being assigned over longer
periods of time (for example, a long-term research project or writing
assignment). In these cases, teachers will still be verifying current grades
at least every two weeks, but the grade itself may not change. If a concern
should arise regarding a grade or an assignment, we ask you to please keep
this in mind when contacting us to allow us to address your concern.
We encourage you to frequent
this page to stay up-to-date on your student’s progress, and utilize the
contact information provided either here or on the U-High webpage (under the
‘Contact Us’ link) to contact teachers when you have questions.
