Book I: The Prologues

Chapter Thirteen:

Of a Dream of the King with the Hundred Knights

King Bors

Following Merlin’s advice, Arthur sent out scouts to skim the countryside where they met scouts from the north; the two parties exchanged pleasantries and information. Under orders from the Council of King Ban and King Bors, they burned all of the countryside in front of them.

Two nights ago the King with the Hundred Knights had a dream in which a great wind came and blew down all of the castles and towns. A great wave then came and washed it all away. The Eleven Kings asked Merlin where they should make camp. When camped, a sentry saw their enemies approaching and raised the alarm.
