Chapter 16 starts out with King Ban who is a fierce warrior is standing in a field with tons of colors. As King Ban is thrust into battle he realizes that this is a battle they must fight. As the battle goes on the king of one-hundred knights and Ban start to battle each other going blow for blow. The king of one-hundred knights thrusts his sword into king Bans horse and king ban falls to the earth. After his horse dies Ban gets up and fights as a lion with no horse killing lots of men. Arthur who is bloody himself sees Ban killing lots of men and realizes how hard Ban is fighting for him and he appreciates it so when he finds a horse he gives it to Ban. Then the men go into a secluded area and rest because in order for the knights with the most power to win the battle they must be rested. While there the 11 kings get together and talked.
