Austin Lamb

Hi my name is Austin! I am going to the University of Illinois next year and I plan on majoring in Biology and minoring in Physiology. I like to ride bulls and rope cattle in my spare time. My nickname from my close friends is "Cowboy".

I learned how to manage my time and work on the Internet in this group project. This project also was interesting because I read many books I wouldn't normally choose to read. It was also fun to work in a group for a semester instead of working individually. In addition, it was fun to hear other opinions. It really opened my eyes to the different opinions that can be had on the same subject. The best part of this project was we were able to read books that we chose. For once, we didn't have to read the books that our superiors chose. We had the freedom of choice. I really enjoyed that aspect because I didn't feel so restrained in my education.
