Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley

Mary Shelley was born of Mary Wollstonecraft and William Godwin, on August 30, 1797.

Mary's Mommy and Daddy
On December 39, 1816, she married Percy Shelley.

Shelley's hubby
Many evenings Mary and Percy would gather with several other people at their friend Lord Byron's villa in Germany. One evening, in 1817, Byron suggested that everyone write a ghost story. Mary wrote Frankenstein which, at that time, was only a nineteen page story.
