Who Am I?

Hi all! My name is Mike Skolmoski and I am a junior at University High School. I am a very big dork, as you can tell by my picture. I took two English classes this year and don't recommend it unless you have hours of free time. This whole webpage is based on a Salon group we did in my AP English Class. My group and I sat around talking about books we read. It was pretty enjoyable, but we also had to write 16 entry annotated bibliographies, which were NOT fun. It was a love/hate relationship. My group members had some problem with ever agreeing on a book. I myself am pretty easy going and I must say I did not choose any of the books we read. Don't cry though, the books we read were very good and I suggest you read them if you haven't already read them for an English class.

What I learned?

I have learned that I have no patience -- when it comes to computers. I also hate folders, and I think saving something to the disk and locally to the folder is the dumbest thing a computer can do. My group also ran into storage problems.  Our disk ran out of space and I had to remake this page on the day it was due. Needless to say, it wasn't fun. Another problem was that we could not work on the page anywhere but school. Since we needed Netscape Gold, and noone had it at home, we had to stay at school to do any extra work. That also was not fun. Other than that, it was the most wonderful experience of my life.
