About
Me:
My name is Patty, and I am a junior in high school. I am a few weeks away from becoming a senior, and I am excited. All my years of school will end in only one year. I am looking forward to going to college, and I hope that my experiences from high school will prepare me for college and beyond.
I participate in various activities at U-High. I am Key Club Secretary and the Citizenship Co-Chair of the Student Senate. I also am a member of the Color Guard in U-High's Marching Band. I also am a member on the U-High Scholastic Bowl team. Some of my other activities are Captains and Math team.
I hope you enjoyed my very brief biography, and I hope you like what we have done with our web pages.

What I Learned:
The reading salon was a new experience for me. In our four person reading group, we read five very different books. Their topics ranged from adventure to romance. The most interesting characteristic of our group was our different viewpoints. For example, I enjoyed A Farewell to Arms, but others in our group did not like it as much. Listening to what others thought about a book helped me see things that I had missed when I read the books.
One of the new things I learned was the meaning of an annotated bibliography. It is a detailed form of the bibliography. It comes with a summary for each entry. It is a useful tool when reviewing old research.
Finally, this is my first experience with creating my own web page. During this project I have learned all the basics of web page building. I have learned how to find elements of the web page and how to use them. This web page experience is new, but it has been fun and fascinating at times for me.
Overall, I feel that I have learned many things from this project. This project has introduced many new experiences to me ranging from literature to the internet. This project has been a positive experience for me.
