Class Resources:

Today in Class (2:00):

1.       You will find several “Story Share” assignments on a page linked from the homepage.  Go to that page.  Read the coverpages and if inclined, read the stories they link to.  Write a refection about your reading and thinking that results.  SIGNIFICANT responses will result in 5-10 points.

2.      Also on the homepage you will find a link to a list of “Daily Work” which includes all of the daily work we have/could do during the semester.  Read this list.  Respond to it as your weekly reflection:

a.      Which of these activities seems the most worthwhile to you?  Why?

b.      Which of these activities seems like more trouble than its worth?  Why?

c.       What news reporting skills do you feel we cover comprehensively as a result of this list?

d.      What news reporting skills need more attention?

e.      Would you suggest any changes to any of these activities to make them more worthwhile?

f.        Review the sample “CCC” activities included at the bottom of the document:  Which of these samples represent quality work?  Which do not?  What is the difference?
