The Goal of the Journal

The K-12 Laboratory School faculty and staff of Illinois State University have created an electronic journal that disseminates practical information related to teaching and learning. Publishing the journal, Exemplary Practice: Illinois State University Laboratory School Journal, corresponds to one of the Laboratory Schools' missions: "To promote effective, high quality education throughout the teaching profession and to aid other educators in the process of improving the quality of education in their schools." By placing the journal on Internet, the expertise of the Laboratory School faculty and staff is available to an international audience.

All Illinois State Laboratory School faculty and staff are eligible to submit articles to this journal. A managing editor solicits articles and publishes the journal on the Internet.

We are interested in the reaction and suggestions of our fellow educators as we try to provide this experimental service.
