Course Description - This
course provides an accelerated quantitative discussion
on the composition, structure, and interaction of
matter. Through classroom work, demonstrations,
projects, and laboratory experiences such topics as
atomic and nuclear structure, periodic relationships,
chemical reactions, acids and bases, gas laws,
solutions, and many others will be covered. Accelerated
Chemistry should be taken by all students interested in
science-related fields as a possible career and/or
interested in taking Advanced Placement Chemistry their
senior year.
