Download and install the cisco client for
windows or
mac (use your ulid & password to get the file)

After re-starting your computer, go to
start-programs-cisco systems vpn client- vpn client (you can
right-click and "send to desktop" to make it easier to find next
time)

click "connect" and enter your username and
password
-
Configure your s-drive: right-click on "My
Computer"; select "Map Network Drive"

Select S for the Drive, and for the folder, type
one of the following (replace "ulid" with your username):
Freshman: \\uhdata3\adilstu2\ulid
Sophomores: \\uhdata3\adilstu3\ulid
Juniors: \\uhdata2\adilstu4\ulid
Seniors: \\uhdata2\adilstu5\ulid
Faculty:
\\uhdata\adilstu\ulid

Click "different user name" and enter adilstu\ulid
and your password (replace "ulid" with your username)
Check the box “Reconnect at logon”.

Next and finish
*To reconnect next time:
-
on your computer, click on "VPN client" and log in
-
if you followed steps 5-7 above, your s-drive
should be ready to go.
*If you are sharing the computer with a
brother or sister, they need to login to the vpn client as
themselves first, and then map a drive (use a different letter)
following steps 4-7 above.

In
the browse box type the path to your folder as listed in step #5 to
the left (ie...\\uhdata3\adilstu2\ulid)
3. Click "bookmark selected".
4. Click into your bookmarked folder. You can save files to your
desktop, work on them at home, and then upload them back to your
bookmarked drive.
