Welcome! The Engineering Technology program at
U-High offers a variety of exciting, high-tech courses to
meet the needs of our students. The program has a
pre-engineering emphasis, with courses in design and
engineering fundamentals. However, no special
technical skills or interests are needed to enroll in the
technology program. Many students with many different
interests enjoy their experience with technology courses.

Dearing 438-5513
Mr. Dearing has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Technology Education from
Illinois State University. He serves as president of the
Technology Education Association of Illinois and serves
on the advisory board for the Technology department at
Illinois State University.
Cory Culbertson 438-8347
Mr.
Culbertson has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Michigan and a Masters in
Technology Education from Illinois State University. He spent a number of years as a research
and design engineer before entering the teaching
field.
