If you
are a U-High student (or parent) you will need the following at
home:
-a decent computer (ideally, minimum specs would be 1.5 ghz or
faster processor, 512 mb ram)
-a dsl or better internet connection
-MS Office 2003 or 2007. As of February 2007 this can be purchased
for under $100 at the Tech Zone at ISU. There ARE compatibility
problems between the two versions. Two solutions: save files in 2003
format or download and install the
Office compatibility fix from the Microsoft website. The simplest solution for the
time being is for students to save files in 2003 format, regardless
of which version of Office they use at home or at school.
